Illini West is a new consolidation of high schools: Carthage, Dallas City, and LaHarpe. Illini West joins the South West division of the WPT. Carthage had a great football history, LaHarpe brings a tradition of its own. Illini West may represent a lot of change, but winning football teams may tie the past to the future. Carthage is the county seat of Hancock County. The high school is in the northeast part of town, north of US 136 and east of IL 94. Rickover Naval is a private school from Chicago. Maybe they will stay the night, maybe they will want a second campus at the old college.
