The Spartans of Bushnell and Illini West will battle to see if either team is headed for a division title. The Chargers from the Southwest and the Spatans from the Southeast.

Annawan/Wethersfield in a new coop are supposed to be good. The Green Dragons are coming to see how good the new Titans will be. Wethersfield fans will have to remember not to cheer for the green helmets.

The last time Lewistown played E/B it was the last week of the Prairieland Conference. It was one of the most exciting high school games I ever saw. E/B prevailed in a 32 to 31 win. E/B drove Lewistown's QB out of bounds short of the endzone on an attempted two point conversion with a minute left in the game.

Pleasant Plains has now played six season opening games last week's 14-13 come from behind fourth quarter win is the only one the Cardinals have won. SJ-R Article This week is an important Southeast Division match up with the newly minted Athens/Greenview Warriors.

Two important Southwest match ups will be WestHancock/Porta and Camp Point/Rushville-Industry. A big step in determining the top tier from the lower tier. Go out to a game this week the weather should be great.
